So here's whats going on:

Pretend with me for a moment, that above this paragraph are several amazingly beautiful pictures of my booth at the recent TNNA market, in Columbus Ohio. I really wanted to show you the pictures as I am very proud of how it turned out… but my camera ‘walked away’ on Friday night after I finished taking the now mythical pictures. I hope the person who has it now needs it – and enjoys it, but if they would please just email me those booth pictures, that would be great.

So, until those pictures arrive, we’ll talk about other things going on. (While we wait. And while I shop for a new camera.) Let’s talk about Nora! She’s finished school for the year and wants to dye more yarn. This is turning out to be a good thing, because I want to bring in a new yarn (several, actually.) for the ol’ storefront here. DK weight hits the streets – or rather, the needles around here soon and I think Nora could really rock the DK, don’t you? The first installment of Nora’s Yarn Club will be in one of the new DK weight yarns, a superwash merino, 5.5spi on 5-7 needles. The remaining 2 colors will be in the standard and always exciting FlockSock Sock Yarn. What else is new & differnt this time? Well, this go-round for Nora’s Yarn Club we’re thinking about shaking things up a bit and including a whack o’ beads for you to play with, color-coordinating with the yarn of course, instead of stitch markers with every yarn. And as usual, Nora insists on candy and stamps and stickers and some other goodies – (I think this is really just an excuse to build up one really cool stamp collection). Mom is thinking that each of the colorways this time around should also have a sample of the same colorway but in lace, just to tempt you. Sound good?

If you missed out on Nora’s yarns the first go-round, she wants to dye them again (she made me write them down), and we even took them to TNNA – you should have heard her ‘squee’ on the phone when I told her that her yarns were heading to some yarn stores! So, Nora’s Yarns will be available soon, in all of the weights of yarn/fiber we have here. You can even get the stitch markers with the yarn – I might have gone overboard when ordering beads, they were so fun! Here’s some pictures from the first round of Nora’s Yarn Club:

Butterflies – the color possibilities were (almost) endless!

Oceans (and the colorful fish and corals in the oceans)

Flowers (watercolor, inspired by monet and other art works – looking across a field of flowers against the sky.)

Want to join in on Nora’s 2nd Yarn Club? No Problem! Choose your option below for 3 months (July, Aug, Sept.) of awesome yarn from Nora. First Yarn expected to ship July 25th. Questions? Email me or use the comments. (and yes, Nora is actually earning money for a pony.)

Domestic (US) $80.00

Well, who can say no to an ad like that? And now that the first shipment has arrived…I won’t say too much, but Miss Nora…did you call my mom to find out what some of my favorite colors were? Stinker!
But I tease..this is just what I would have picked myself, and the extras are awesome! Thanks, Sweetie!
