Do you see the new name on the back wall?

Don't worry about the shreds of paper left behind by previous tenants.

Imagine instead, a Fiber Arts Center.  4000 square feet of space for the fiber enthusiast, and consumer.  A place to come and learn to weave or spin or knit or felt... a place to purchase fleece, roving, yarns, tools... a place to offer your crafted items for sale to the public.
The fleece or roving from your flock... the heirloom from your loom or needles... the handspun other crafters want for their one of a kind projects.

We want to carry your hand-crafted product or tools & supplies (spindles, fleece, roving etc) on consignment.  As indie-crafters ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to break into a new market-space.  We also understand how under-valued our work can be.  A percentage split of 75/25 gives you the lion's share of the income.  You would be responsible for postage in sending your items, and there is a standard inventory form for us to standardize record-management.
The store is inside a mall here in Syracuse, anchored by Macy's, JCPenney's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sears, and a 14-plex movie theatre.  Syracuse has a large fiber-arts population, and we'd like to meet their needs with classes and supplies.  There is also a large segment of the population here involved and committed to the environment and 'green' footprint.  Your woolen and hand-crafted, quality products appeal to them on many levels.

We are planning to open in early April, with a Grand Opening in May, and we'd like you with us!

Please email pictures of your work to contact@holidayyarns.com with your contact information, and a brief description of your work.

Here are some examples of products we'd like to make available in our store.  This is by no means a complete list - it is limited only by your creativity!
